Pacific Northwest National Laboratory - PNNL
Neeraj Kumar is the data scientist and program development lead of computational biology at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research focuses on the development of machine learning/artificial intelligence and multiscale modeling methods for understanding chemical and biological processes. This includes the development of data integration and data reduction deep learning models to build software stack and address fundamental scientific questions for biophysics, structural and molecular biology, bio/cheminformatics, high throughput synthesis, multi-omics data integration, and metabolic modeling domain. For this, he’s been collaborating with experimentalists and other measurement research groups to understand their data, automate data processing, and iteratively integrate with models to test hypotheses.
