Richard Andres is a distinguished academic and strategist in national security, serving as a Full Professor of National Security Strategy at the National War College since January 2009. With over twenty years of expertise in emerging technologies and global policy, Richard also holds roles as the Director of Artificial Intelligence Integration and Director of various courses of study in cybersecurity and strategic leadership. In addition to the National War College, Richard is a Non-resident Senior Fellow at The Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies and a Senior Fellow at the McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security. Richard previously served as the NSA Scholar in Residence at the National Security Agency and has held advisory positions at notable organizations, including the Air Force Association and Argonne National Laboratory. Richard holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and has been a member of various advisory boards and editorial committees throughout a distinguished career.
