Yelin Ni

Yelin Ni is a Materials Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, with experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate focused on testing polymer property changes during degradation and estimating the remaining useful life of polymer-based products. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Intern at AnalySwift, and significant research tenure at Purdue University as a Graduate Research Assistant where Yelin built an analytical model for glassy materials, revealed universal temperature dependence of relaxation behaviors, and synthesized epoxy specimens for model validation. Teaching experience encompasses both graduate and undergraduate courses, facilitating understanding of engineering principles. Yelin also conducted undergraduate research at Zhejiang University, leading a project on polymer materials for intravascular stents, and contributed to research on liquid metal surface properties at North Carolina State University. Yelin holds a PhD in Polymer Materials from Purdue University and a BS in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Zhejiang University.
