William Comeau has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. William started their career at ComEd, where they held the positions of Principal Engineer, Information Technology Analyst, and Senior Account Manager from 2000 to 2007. In 2007, they joined PacifiCorp as an Economic Development Manager. William then progressed to become the Customer Programs Manager and later the Managing Director of Customer Innovations from 2010 to 2020. Currently, William is the Vice President of Customer Experience and Innovation at PacifiCorp, where they lead a customer-centric team of over 300 people and oversees various departments, including customer research, contact centers, digital customer tools, and renewable energy programs.
William Comeau earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University from 1994 to 1998. William later pursued an MBA at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2004 to 2007. In 2010, they completed a Certificate in Utility Management from Willamette University - Atkinson Graduate School of Management.

PacifiCorp is a regulated, vertically integrated electric utility company serving 1.8 million retail customers, including residential, commercial, industrial, irrigation and other customers in portions of the states of Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, Washington, Idaho and California. PacifiCorp owns, or has interests in, 75 thermal, hydroelectric, wind-powered and geothermal generating facilities, with a net owned capacity of 11, 136 megawatts (MW). It owns electric transmission and distribution assets, and transmits electricity through approximately 16, 400 miles of transmission lines and 63, 000 miles of distribution lines and 900 substations. It also buys and sells electricity on the wholesale market with other utilities, energy marketing companies, financial institutions and other market participants. PacifiCorp's subsidiaries support its electric utility operations by providing coal mining services.
