Emmett Martin has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Emmett began their career at GlaxoSmithKline in 1986, where they worked as a Site Services & Automation Manager. In this role, Emmett set up the Automation team, developed standards, and implemented processes for technology selection. Emmett also completed a CSV gap analysis and remediation project. In 2011, Emmett joined GE Healthcare as a Maintenance Manager, where they managed a team of technicians and group leaders, oversaw site utilities and energy activities, and implemented continuous improvement projects. Emmett then moved to PACIV in 2012, where they currently work as an Operations Manager.
Emmett Martin completed their Leaving Cert degree from Igniod Ris Sullivans Qual in 1973. Following that, they pursued a Diploma in Instrument Physics at RTC Cork from 1974 to 1980. Later, from 2004 to 2008, they attended UCC and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science.
