Matthew Pellow

Matthew Pellow has a strong background in internal audit, with experience in various companies and roles. Matthew is currently the Head of Internal Audit at Pact Group Holdings Ltd since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Internal Audit Consultant at Visy from 2018 to 2019. In 2017, they served as a Finance Optimization Controls Contractor at IXOM, where they reviewed finance function policies and procedures and worked on inventory process improvements. From 2010 to 2017, they held roles at Village Roadshow, including Group Head of Internal Audit and Group Internal Audit Manager. During this time, they set up the IA function, developed annual IA plans and budgets, and managed relationships with third-party service providers. Matthew also worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Visy from 2006 to 2010, as a Senior Corporate Auditor at General Motors from 2003 to 2006, as a Senior Internal Auditor at PwC from 2001 to 2002, and as a Senior Accountant at EY from 1998 to 2001.

Matthew Pellow obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies degree in Accounting and Marketing from The University of Waikato, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001.
