Daniel Zou has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 as an Angel Investor with 10+ investments across FinTech, consumer, and gaming. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Jump Trading LLC. Daniel then moved to Robinhood in 2018 where they worked as a Software Engineer, helping to grow the user base from 4 million to 15 million users. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Anduril Industries. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of Pahdo Labs, building an Anime-inspired MMO and game creation platform backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Mark Pincus, and Riccardo Zacconi.
Daniel Zou obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Daniel also holds a High School Diploma from Libertyville High School. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: the Founder Fellowship from On Deck in 2020, and the Retention Engagement Series from Reforge in 2019.
