John Compton is a seasoned professional in tabletop role-playing game development, currently serving as a Senior Developer at Paizo Inc. since October 2011. In this role, John oversees hardcover book production for the Starfinder RPG, managing author projects and editing processes while also guiding strategic product planning and collaboration on setting lore and rules. With a prolific writing background, John has contributed to 80 publications across various genres as an author and has directed organized play programs, successfully producing and managing extensive content and author training. Prior experiences include teaching K-12 students at C2 Education, leading enumerators for the US Census Bureau, and conducting archaeological fieldwork, supported by academic credentials in Experimental Archaeology and Anthropology.
