Krystal Lau, PhD, is a Deployment Strategist at Palantir Technologies, leading a team to develop custom software solutions for a large hospital that enhance operational efficiencies through data integration and machine learning. Previously, Krystal served as a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College Business School and as a Quantitative Scientist at Flatiron Health, where responsibilities included curating real-world evidence for oncology drug development. Krystal has also held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer at Imperial College Business School, teaching various economics and health policy courses. Krystal holds a PhD in Economics from Imperial College London, along with an MRes in Business and an MS in Bioscience Research and Health Policy from Rice University, where an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology was also earned.
