Carrie Chasteen

Carrie Chasteen is a Senior Architectural Historian at Chronicle Heritage, with over 20 years of experience in cultural resources management and the built environment. Previous roles include Cultural Resources Manager/Senior Architectural Historian at Sapphos Environmental, Inc., Senior Architectural Historian at Applied EarthWorks, Inc., and Sr. Architectural Historian at Parsons, among others. Carrie Chasteen has extensive expertise in project management, agency coordination, archival research, and preparing compliance documents for Environmental Impact Statements and reports. Notable projects include consulting on the Shangri La Hotel in Santa Monica and managing large-scale surveys throughout Southern California. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of South Florida.
