Michael Sachs has a diverse work experience in various industries. Michael is currently working as the Head of Technology (CTO) for Palm Packaging at Papierfabrik Palm GmbH & Co. KG since November 2020. In this role, they are responsible for technical innovations, operational excellence, capex, CIP, and digitalization. Michael oversees all 29 plants for production and technical equipment.
Prior to their current role, Michael served as the Managing Director for MM Packaging Schilling GmbH from June 2015 to October 2020. Before that, they were a Member of the Supervisory Board at pacoon AG | strategie + design from August 2013 to June 2015.
Michael also has experience as a Managing Director at Casimir Kast Verpackung und Display GmbH from February 2007 to May 2015. Michael served as the Commercial Director at SCA Schucker GmbH & Co. KG from June 2003 to February 2007 and as a Business Unit Controller at Robert Bosch GmbH - Automotive Aftermarket from June 1999 to May 2003.
Michael Sachs attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur (Master of business and engineering) and successfully graduated with a Diplom in that field. In June 1999, Michael obtained the certification of Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (TH) from the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT).
