Palmer
Iqbal Budwal is a seasoned civil and geological engineer with a focus on geotechnical practices. Currently serving as a Geotechnical EIT at Palmer since April 2022, Iqbal previously held positions such as a Researcher and Developer at Rocscience, where expertise in 3D simulations and soil models was demonstrated. With prior experience as a Rapid Transit Student Engineer at the Region of Waterloo, Iqbal engaged in project management and inspections for the ION Light Rail Transit Project. Other roles include Capital Works Inspector for the City of Brampton and Traffic Information Scheduler for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Iqbal holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, enhancing a robust foundation in engineering principles.
