Palmer
Ryan Morin is an experienced ecologist with a diverse background in environmental research and program coordination. Currently serving as an ecologist at Palmer since March 2020, Ryan previously worked as an ecologist and GIS specialist at Beacon Environmental Limited from September 2015 to March 2020. Prior experience includes a role as program coordinator and species at risk biologist for Magnetawan First Nation, where work focused on documenting Ontario’s Reptile Species at Risk. Ryan's earlier roles include ecology research technician at The Ontario Aggregate Resources Corporation, where research on afforestation and forest ecology was conducted, and wilderness guide positions at Beck's Kennels and The Portage Store. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Conservation Biology from Griffith University and diplomas in Fish and Wildlife Technician from Fleming College, and Business Marketing from Sheridan College.
