Jennifer Whitmire has a solid work experience spanning over two decades. Jennifer started their career in 1995 as the Vice President of Governmental Affairs at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, where they focused on lobbying and promoting pro-business initiatives. In 1998, Jennifer joined Aetna US Healthcare as a Key Account Manager, responsible for sales and maintaining client relationships. In 2000, they became a Senior Client Manager at Millennium Benefits Consulting, where they played a key role in communication, open enrollment, and compliance. As a member of the Leadership Team, Jennifer provided input for strategic goals and plans. In 2017, they transitioned to Palmer & Cay as the Communications Director, overseeing communication strategies for clients and managing content writing and distribution.
Jennifer Whitmire completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from 1988 to 1992. Jennifer then pursued further education at Emory University, where they obtained a Masters of Public Health degree in 1995. Additionally, Jennifer has a certification as a Licensed Life, Accident & Sickness Insurance Agent from the State of Georgia.
