Nelson Lee, PhD, currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering for Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks, where significant contributions include pioneering the application of Large Language Models in cybersecurity and leading cross-functional teams to develop GenAI-driven solutions for Incident Response. Previously, Nelson held the role of VP of Software Engineering at Okyo, driving global leadership and the launch of innovative products. With a strong foundation in product leadership at Essential Products and Juicero Inc., Nelson shaped technology strategies and product direction. Additional experience includes product management roles at Apple and Google, focusing on user experience and video search technologies. Nelson earned a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a B.S. in EECS from the University of California, Berkeley.
