EJ Sam Ubalde is a seasoned professional in ship repair and project management, currently serving as Ship Repair Manager and Quality Manager at Palumbo Shipyards since March 2020. In this role, responsibilities include reviewing client drawings, organizing docking arrangements, preparing inspection plans, and ensuring quality control during vessel dry-docking. Prior, EJ held the position of Project Engineer at Josefa Slipways Inc., overseeing dry docking repairs and maintaining high-quality standards. It have been declared also compliant with the organizational and management model OHSAS 18001. In 2014, obtained the certification for the maintenance and repair of LNG carriers specializing in the transportation of liquefied natural gas from the GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz).
