Samuel Davalos began their career in 2015 as a Molecular Technologist at MedLabs Diagnostics, where they gained expertise in a variety of molecular methods and instrumentation. Samuel then moved up to the position of Director of Technical Innovation in 2017, where they oversaw assay transition and setup, analyzed send out costs, and implemented cost reduction strategies.

In 2019, Samuel joined Siemens Healthineers as an Automation Informatics Specialist, responsible for installing and configuring informatics products across the Northeast United States. Samuel then joined Eurofins NTD Genetics in 2020 as the Associate Vice President of Operations. In this role, they served as the Acting Business Unit Manager and focused on cross-functional processes and policies.

Samuel's most recent position is with Opentrons' Pandemic Response Lab as the SVP of Laboratory Operations, which they started in 2022.

Samuel Davalos completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Colgate University between 2010 and 2014.
