Yue Sun

Yue Sun has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2014, Yue worked as an Assistant of School's Foreign Affairs at the Public Administration School in South China University of Technology. Their responsibilities included accompanying foreign guests, conducting simultaneous translation, and handling inquiries.

In 2015, Yue worked as a Research Assistant at the Public Administration School, where they conducted surveys, collected data, and analyzed it using statistical software.

Yue then joined ReVireo as a Graphic Design Intern in 2016, gaining experience in graphic design.

Also in 2016, Yue worked at the Rutgers Center of Global Service as an Orientation Assistant, where they directed, shot, and edited videos, designed handouts and posters, and presented sessions for international students.

Yue then worked at RUMobile LLC as a UI Designer, where they developed concept ideas, designed user interfaces, and conducted user research for the redesign of the Rutgers App.

During the same year, Yue also worked at the Middlesex County Office of Planning as a Research Assistant in the Transportation Division and as an Environmental Planning Intern in the Comprehensive Planning Division. Their tasks included supporting initiatives such as the Water Quality Management Planning Program, analyzing research topics, and designing layouts for community outreach materials.

In 2017, Yue worked as an Urban Planner at AUBE Architectual Engineering Design CO.

From 2019 to 2021, Yue served as a Product Designer at SportsBiz, leading a design team and creating a sports sponsorship and marketing SaaS system from scratch.

From 2020 to 2022, Yue worked as a UI/UX Designer at Plecosystems Inc. Their responsibilities included leading the product design process, conducting platform redesigns, and creating design pattern libraries.

Currently, Yue is working at Paperless Post as a Product Designer, starting in 2023.

Yue Sun completed a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from South China University of Technology from 2013 to 2015. Following this, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Yue Sun then went on to attend Cornell University from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Information Science degree, specializing in the field of Information Science.
