Mathieu Valetaud has a diverse work experience in various engineering and environmental roles. Mathieu started their career as an intern at Saint Gobain Eurocoustic, where they assessed process water management. Later, they worked as an intern at ENSCBP, where they developed a system to modify conductive surfaces using electrochemical reactions. Mathieu then interned at James Cook University, conducting research on groundwater pollution sources. After that, they worked as an environmental engineer intern at Golder Associates. Mathieu then joined AQUASSAY as a water efficiency design engineer. In 2018, Mathieu became a project manager at Renault Group and an environmental issues and hazardous materials manager at DGA. Currently, they are working as a project engineer at PAPREC GROUP.

From 2009 to 2011, they attended Tours University and obtained a Two-year technical university Diploma in Environmental Engineering.
In 2011-2012, they studied at the University of Bordeaux and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental chemistry.
Between 2012 and 2015, Mathieu attended the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges. During this period, they pursued an Engineering Degree in Water Management and Environmental Engineering.
In 2014-2015, they also attended the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, where they obtained an additional Engineering Degree in Urban Planning.
In 2017, Mathieu pursued a Project Management course called MOOC Gestion de Projet at Centrale Lille, resulting in a degree certificate.

Additionally, in September 2017, Mathieu achieved a certified completion of the MOOC Gestion de projet avancé course offered by Ecole Centrale de Lille.
