Ilya Sukhar

Ilya Sukhar is a General Partner at Matrix since 2017, involved with various companies including Flock Safety, Fivetran, August Health, Mashgin, Parabola, Sieve, and Chameleon. Sukhar serves as a Board Director for Flock Safety, Fivetran, August Health, Mashgin, and Parabola. Previous experience includes a role as a Partner at Y Combinator from 2014 to 2016 and developer products at Facebook from 2013 to 2016, leading teams responsible for key developer-facing products. Sukhar co-founded and served as CEO of Parse, a cloud service for mobile developers, prior to its acquisition by Facebook. Educational background includes a M.Eng. and B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University and attendance at The Harker School.
