Paradromics
Andreas Schaefer is a distinguished neuroscientist currently serving as Principal Group Leader and Assistant Research Director at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2015. In addition, Andreas is a co-founder of Paradromics Inc and a Professor of Neuroscience at UCL, where involvement has continued since 2013. Previous experience includes roles as a Program Leader at the National Institute for Medical Research and as a Professor of Anatomy at Heidelberg University. From 2008 to 2013, Andreas was a Max Planck Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research. Earlier in Andreas's career, positions included BBSRC David-Phillips Fellow and postdoctoral researcher at UCL. Andreas obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research and holds two Diplom degrees in Physics from Heidelberg University.
