Carol Avila is an experienced project manager currently employed at Parallaxes Capital since August 2021, having previously held the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations at Mentor Collective from September 2020 to July 2021. Carol’s extensive background in corporate banking includes positions at MUFG as Vice President and Associate within U.S. Corporate Banking from August 2013 to July 2018, and at Citi as an Associate and Analyst in various capacities in Global Investment Banking from July 2009 to August 2013. Educationally, Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2009.

Parallaxes Capital is a leading alternative asset manager focused on tax receivable agreements. Parallaxes has raised four funds from thoughtful and like-minded family offices, foundations and endowments. In the process, we have strived to provide liquidity to Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) stakeholders by monetizing otherwise long-dated assets. Looking forward, we anticipate that TRAs will continue to become more common in the coming years and as such, our goal is to be a leading authority in this space.
