Mahesh Pritamani, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in research and analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Parametric since May 2013, Mahesh specializes in developing rules-based investment strategies and smart beta products, with a focus on income, low volatility, and deep value strategies. Prior to this role, Mahesh held the position of Senior Research Analyst at Russell Investments, where algorithms for efficient tracking of multi-manager composites were developed. Mahesh has an academic background as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Oakland University and was a Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech. With advanced degrees including a PhD in Finance and an MBA in Finance from Virginia Tech, as well as a CFA designation, Mahesh's educational foundation is robust, complemented by early experience as a partner in a wholesale textile trading firm.
