Michael Herrmann

Michael Herrmann is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in test development, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Test Development Engineer at Paramit Corporation since January 2019, Michael develops Functional Test Fixtures for PCBA, mechanical sub-assemblies, and system testing. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Mechanical Engineer at WD, a Western Digital company, focusing on the design and development of data acquisition systems for vibration and shock characterization, as well as competitor analysis of servo control loops in HDDs. Michael began a career in engineering as an Electrical Engineer at EDC Biosystems, designing electronic hardware and programming applications to facilitate cross-application communication. Michael's earlier roles include serving as a Senior Mechanical Technician at Aura Associates and Insite Peripherals, where Michael contributed to the development and testing of advanced mechanical systems and storage devices. Michael holds a degree from San Jose State University.
