Mica Fidler currently serves as the Director of Communities at Thread, Inc., since July 2024, and holds board member positions at The Park School of Baltimore and Clal – The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, Inc. Previously, Mica directed instruction at Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School and taught English at Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School, where responsibilities included coaching the Speech and Debate Team and leading 10th Grade Crew. Mica is a Fulbright Grant Recipient who taught English overseas and facilitated library development and job readiness programs for vocational college students. Mica holds a Master's degree in Teaching with a focus on Adolescent Literacy from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from Brown University, where notable achievements included leading the Meiklejohn Peer Advising Program and working as a Writing Fellow.
