Ian Davison

Ian Davison is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Core Engineering Manager at Parker Hannifin since September 2021. Previously, Ian spent over a decade at Rotary Power, initially as a Design Engineer and later advancing to Engineering Director, where responsibilities included overseeing product development from concept to commissioning for hydraulic pumps and motors. Prior roles include Design Engineer at Komatsu UK Ltd., focusing on specialist work equipment and European customization, and earlier experience as a Design Engineer at Rotary Power. Ian began his career as a summer placement student at IHC Engineering Business Ltd. Ian holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University, attained from 1998 to 2002.
