Previously, Mac held the position of City Attorney for the City of Charlotte from December 1994 to December 2011, where notable achievements included negotiating the return of an NBA franchise and leading negotiations for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Mac's earlier experience includes serving as City Attorney for the City of Greenville, NC, and as Assistant General Counsel for the NC League of Municipalities.
