Andi Fristedt serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Policy Officer at the Parkinson's Foundation since January 2025. Prior to this role, Andi accumulated extensive experience at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as Deputy Director and Chief Strategy Officer from January 2009 to January 2025, along with positions at the FDA as Deputy Commissioner for Policy, Legislation, and International Affairs from January 2021 to January 2023. Additionally, Andi worked in the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, holding various roles including Deputy Health Policy Director and Senior Health Policy Advisor between January 2012 and January 2021. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs with a focus on Domestic Policy and Health Policy from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Human Services from the University of Oregon.
