Ivan Johnson has extensive experience in leadership and project management within the healthcare and community service sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of the Southbury CT Division of the American Parkinson's Disease Association since September 2015 and as President of the APDA Connecticut Chapter since January 2018, Ivan focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals with Parkinson's disease. In addition, Ivan holds positions as a Board Member of Southbury Elderly Housing, Inc., and as a volunteer with the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Previously, Ivan worked as a Director of Maintenance and Director of Plant Operations/Bio-Med at Vanguard Resources Inc, overseeing extensive operational and renovation projects in healthcare facilities. Ivan's educational background includes a high school diploma from Joel Barlow and a certificate in Business Administration as well as Architectural Design and Mechanical Drafting from Norwalk State Technical and Community College.
