Jan Schluger

Janet Schluger is a seasoned professional in the fashion and design industry, currently serving as Manager of the Parrish Art Museum Shop since June 2018. Janet has been a freelance Knitwear Designer since May 2013, showcasing expertise in specialized design. Previously, Janet held the position of Senior Design Director at LF USA from January 2004 to March 2013, leading teams in design initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Design Director at Segerman International and The Daggar Group, where responsibilities encompassed design research, sample execution, and presentations for major retail brands. Janet began a career in design at DeRotchild Knitwear as a Designer, focusing on retail presentations and international travel for sourcing. Janet holds an Associate's Degree in Fashion Design and Illustration from The Parsons School of Design, The New School, completed between 1968 and 1971.
