Klaus Ottmann is an accomplished art curator and publisher with extensive experience in various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as the Adjunct Curator of the Collection at Parrish Art Museum since May 2023, Klaus previously held multiple key positions at The Phillips Collection from October 2010, including Chief Curator Emeritus and Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Special Initiatives. Additionally, Klaus has been Publisher and Editor in Chief at Spring Publications since 2004, and served as the Robert Lehman Curator at both The Parrish Art Museum and The Phillips Collection. Previous curatorial experience includes a role as Curator of Exhibitions at the American Federation of Arts from 1996 to 1999. Klaus holds a PhD in Philosophy from European Graduate School and a Master's degree in Philosophy and Art History from Freie Universität Berlin, complemented by executive education from the Getty Leadership Institute in 2014.
