Lauren Jones-Kaplan

Lauren Jones-Kaplan has worked in a variety of roles in the education sector since 2008. Lauren began their career as a 1st Grade Teacher for Glendale Elementary School District in 2008. Lauren then moved to Excel Academy Charter Schools in 2010, where they held the roles of Network Science Department Head, Founding Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, and 7th and 8th Grade Science Teacher. In 2018, they began working as an Adjunct Instructor: Secondary Science for Relay Graduate School of Education. Lauren has been with DSST Public Schools since 2015, where they have held the roles of Director of STEM and Innovation, Senior Manager of STEM, Senior Manager of Science, and Manager of Professional Learning. Lauren is currently employed as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Parsyl, a role they began in 2022.

Lauren Jones-Kaplan holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government and Humanities from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Lauren also has a K-8 Teacher Certification from the Arizona Department of Education.
