Lucas Allen is an experienced professional in health policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Advocacy Lead for Federal & State Policy at Partners In Health since May 2022. Previously, Lucas held various roles at the American Academy of Pediatrics from February 2019 to May 2022, including Policy Associate and Legislative Assistant. Lucas was a Fulbright Fellow in Brazil, focusing on promoting exchange between the U.S. and other countries from February to November 2018. From August 2016 to December 2017, Lucas worked at NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, leading healthcare policy initiatives and advancing domestic policy in areas such as health care and food security. Earlier experiences include an internship at Seed Global Health, research assistance at Boston College, and advocacy work with the US Jesuit Conference. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Boston College and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from The George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health.
