Alan has nearly 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, working in strategy development and execution, organisation, and operational improvement, and Capex management.
He has held positions at oilfield services giant, Schlumberger, McKinsey & Company, and TOTAL, a major international oil and gas company. Alan joined Partners in Performance in 2013 to lead the Oil and Gas Practice, supporting clients in their journey to achieve superior performance.
Having worked in numerous countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, United Kingdom, Spain, Azerbaijan and Malaysia, Alan’s experience covers all major international markets.
He has advised multiple clients in operational improvement, capability building, strategy design and achieving superior financial and operational performance. Alan has also supported governments and regulatory agencies in their efforts to steer and develop their local energy industries and attract investment.
He believes organisations in the energy industry now have a unique opportunity to transform themselves into leading institutions for years to come. To accomplish this, oil and gas companies not only need clear strategies but more importantly, a strong execution philosophy
