Chris Hildebrand

Chris Hildebrand is an enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher at Passaic Public Schools, with experience as a Social Studies Teacher Candidate at Rutgers University's Center for Effective School Practices. With over 20 years of experience working with children and young adults, Chris focuses on connecting curriculum and "teachable moments" to student experiences. Additional coaching experience includes serving as a Multi-Sport Coach at USA Sport Group and a Youth Sports Program Supervisor at the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. Chris has also held roles as a substitute teacher across various districts, a paraprofessional educator for students with special needs, and as a business owner in the restaurant and marketing sectors. Educational qualifications include an MS in Marketing and an MBA in Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with a BA in History from Roanoke College.
