Justin Heinze

Justin Heinze serves as the Regional News Manager and State Editor for Pennsylvania at Patch.com since March 2015, where responsibilities include managing and editing a team of journalists focused on state politics and overseeing multiple daily newsletters and breaking news alerts. Prior to this role, Justin gained extensive experience as a reporter and editor, covering significant events such as the 2016 Democratic National Convention and Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia, while engaging in a wide range of news topics including municipal politics and local crime. Previous positions include editing at Progressive Business Publications and writing at the University of Pennsylvania, alongside various roles in conservation and education. Justin holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from Prescott College, a Master of Arts in English from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Saint Joseph's University.
