Michelle Jons has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Michelle started their career at Citibank in 2002 as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for managing a project management team supporting various functions in Student Loan Operations. Michelle then transitioned to become the Student Loan Collections Operations Manager before eventually being promoted to the role of SVP Operations. In 2017, they joined Pathward as the VP of Operational Risk Management.
Michelle Jons completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of South Dakota, where they studied from 1981 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Sioux Falls, graduating from 2003 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in the field of risk management. In February 2019, Michelle became a Certified Enterprise Risk Professional from the American Bankers Association. Michelle also earned a Certificate in Operational Risk Management from the same institution in June 2017.
