Prior to that, Eric founded Custis Pub in 2020 with the aim of supporting independent venues. Eric also served as the Managing Partner at Pizza Coast Hiway from 2021 to 2023. Eric has held positions such as Market Manager at DLS EVENTS LLC, Sales Specialist at Stone Brewing, General Manager at Brewport Taphouse & Kitchen, and Director of Food and Beverage at Shade Hotel. Eric has significant experience in the food and beverage industry, including a role as General Manager at Wolfgang Puck Catering, where they managed large-scale events and supervised a staff of 75. Before that, Eric worked as the Lounge Manager at Film Independent and as a Race Coordinator at MESP, Inc., where they organized and managed high-profile events.

Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from West Virginia University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Eric Custis has obtained additional certifications, including SAP ERP Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2022 and Eagle Scout recognition from the Boy Scouts of America.
