Jacob has been Vice Chairman since May 2015. He is also Chairman of Investor AB, Vice Chairman of ABB, Ericsson and FAM as well as Director of The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and Nasdaq Inc. Jacob is also a member of IBLAC (Mayor of Shanghai's International Business Leaders Advisory Council), Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science (IVA) and The European Round Table of Industrialists.

Prior board assignments are: SEB (Chairman), Atlas Copco, SAS, and Stora (Vice Chairman), The Coca-Cola Company, Electrolux, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Stockholm School of Economics, Stora and VM-data (Director).

Jacob has been President and CEO at SEB and EVP and CFO at Investor AB.

Jacob holds a B.Sc. Economics and M.B.A., Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Reserve Officer, Swedish Navy.
