Qingwei Fu

Qingwei Fu, PhD, PE, currently serves as a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer at Pattern Energy Group, focusing on engineering support for wind and solar projects since September 2023. Prior to this role, Qingwei Fu was with Enel Green Power from September 2016 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading civil efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects and managing comprehensive civil engineering tasks. Earlier experience includes project management and senior engineering roles at Brookfield Renewable Energy Group, overseeing hydro projects, as well as a tenure at URS Corporation as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer specializing in dam and reservoir rehabilitation. Qingwei Fu holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and advanced degrees from Northeastern University and Wuhan University.
