James Gibson has a strong background in creative direction and design, with experience spanning various roles and industries. James is currently working at Pattern® as part of the Design & Strategy team. Prior to this, they worked at Helpful as a Creative Director, overseeing visual identity and brand strategy for new and existing brands, as well as managing the design production team. James also served as a Creative Director at Switchful, where they were responsible for the visual identity strategy and execution. Before that, James worked at EKR as a Creative Director, overseeing all creative products and managing the visual production team. James also held the role of Creative Director at Relic Advertising, where they oversaw the creative product and managed the design production team. In addition, James has experience as an Art Director at both Relic Advertising and the More Good Foundation. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Animator/Illustrator at Middlebury Interactive Languages and was part of the Visual Development Team at Brigham Young University.
James Gibson began their education by pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2007 to 2010. After completing their associate degree, they furthered their education at Brigham Young University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Animation and Russian from 2009 to 2013.
