Allen Crum

Allen Crum is an experienced professional in marketing, communications, and business development within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Patterson-UTI since January 2024, Crum previously held various leadership roles at NexTier Oilfield Solutions from March 2013 to January 2024, including Vice President of Business Development & Marketing and Vice President of Corporate Sales. Crum's career also includes positions such as Sales Manager and Account Manager at RockPile Energy Service, and District Engineer in hydraulic fracturing. Earlier experience encompasses a role as Field Engineer at Schlumberger and a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Intern at Cliffs Natural Resources. Crum's education includes a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned in 2012, and an earlier B.S. in Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2007.
