Rod Lidgard - CEnvP (SC) has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles.
Rod started their career at Pattle Delamore Partners in 2007 as an Environmental Geologist and worked their way up to become a Senior Environmental Geologist. In 2011, they took on the role of Service Leader - Contaminated Land, and in 2015, they became the Technical Director - Contaminated Land. Rod'smost recent position at the company is Strategic Director - Clients and Markets, which they have held since 2023.
In 2020, Lidgard also worked as a Guest Lecturer at The University of Auckland, where they likely shared their expertise and knowledge in environmental-related subjects.
Additionally, Lidgard has been actively involved in various committees at WasteMINZ since 2022. As a committee member, they have contributed to the development of voluntary industry-led guidance for soil reuse and has been responsible for assessing and analyzing clean fill stockpiles and in-situ soil.

Rod Lidgard - CEnvP (SC) obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology with a specialization in Biology from The University of Auckland from 2002 to 2006. Rod then pursued a PGDipSci (Postgraduate Diploma in Science) from the same university from 2006 to 2007, concentrating on Geology and Environmental Science. In terms of additional certifications, Rod Lidgard is a Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, which they obtained in 2023. Rod is also a Certified Environmental Practitioner - Site Contamination, certified by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) in October 2019. Furthermore, they are a former Licenced Asbestos Assessor, licensed by WorkSafe New Zealand in September 2017.
