Matt Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matt began their career as a Production Assistant at Late Show with David Letterman, where they excelled in managing guest talent and assisting in the production of specialized segments. Later, they joined Ogilvy & Mather as a Sr. Account Manager, leading advertising and marketing initiatives for prestigious clients such as IBM, KRAFT Foods, and Goldman Sachs & Co.
In 2007, Matt became the Managing Director/Partner/Franchisee at Paul Mitchell Schools, overseeing design, construction management, procurement, staffing, and training at multiple locations. Matt successfully established corporate benchmarks and achieved investment goals annually.
In 2017, Matt joined O.C. Tanner, initially serving as a Client Success Leader in Performance SaaS Solutions. Matt later transitioned to the role of Group Operations Leader, responsible for managing daily operations, professional development, strategy deployment, and overall profitability of the acrylic team.
Currently, Matt holds the position of COO at Team Nation Sports, where they play a crucial role in revolutionizing the way teams learn through gamification and actionable data.
Matt Smith attended Brigham Young University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Advertising from the School of Communications. The start and end years of their education are not provided.
