Vilas Patil

Vilas Patil is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in user experience design, held current position as Vice President of User Experience Design at Payactiv since August 2024. As a Design Mentor at adplist.org since September 2021, Vilas empowers emerging designers in building high-performing teams and strategic design practices. Previously, as VP of Design & User Experience at Hwy Haul, Vilas established the design function and drove significant growth. A long tenure at Yahoo includes impactful roles such as Senior Principal Designer, where Vilas led major redesigns that improved user engagement and contributed to substantial revenue increases. Prior experience spans senior design roles at Cisco, Symantec, and TSYS, showcasing a strong foundation in user-centered design and innovation across various platforms. Educational background includes studies at Stanford Continuing Studies, Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from Karnatak University.
