Greg Tennyson has over 13 years of work experience. Greg began their career in 2008 as Customer Executive Advisor at Coupa Software. From 2012-2017, they worked at Salesforce, first as VP, Customers for Life (Customer Technical Support Executive), where they led global customer technical support outsourced operations with an annual operating budget of approx. $50million and over 1,000 agents providing T1 , T2 and dev support. Greg then moved to CPO & VP, Source to Settle and Expense to Settle (Shared Services Executive), where they led a global source-to-settle and travel-to-expense team for a $10billion hyper-growth, entrepreneurial high-tech company with staff dispersed globally. In 2017, they joined Fairmarkit as SVP, Strategy & Procurement and a Strategic Advisor. In 2018, they were a Strategic Advisor for CXO Nexus, Inc. and an Advisory Board Member for SIG | ORG (Sourcing Industry Group). In 2020, they took on the role of Strategic Advisor at Zip, and in 2021 they became a Strategic Advisor at Canva. In 2022, they became a Strategic Advisor at PayEm.

Greg Tennyson has an extensive education background. Greg obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Saint Mary's College of California between 1978 and 1982. Greg then went on to get a Master's Degree in Management with a focus in Procurement and Contracts from the same institution between 1984 and 1986. Most recently, they obtained a Leadership & Management degree from The Wharton School in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Tennyson has obtained several certifications. Greg was a finalist for the Future of Sourcing Awards from the Sourcing Industry Group (SIG) in 2022, obtained a Leadership in the 21st Century certification from Wharton Online in 2021, and was certified as a Sourcing Professional by the Sourcing Industry Group in 2018. Greg also holds a Negotiations.Ninja White Belt certification from #Mark Raffan, Negotiations.Ninja, and a Certified Sourcing Professional (SIG) certification, as well as previously held C.P.M. (ISM) and CPCM (NCMA) certifications from the Sourcing Industry Group in 2017. Additionally, they are a Board Member and Hall of Fame member of the Sourcing Industry Group.
