Rezvan Shokrani

Rezvan Shokrani has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Rezvan began their career as a Computer Programmer at ARICO, where they worked part-time. Rezvan'sresponsibilities included updating financial software using C# and SQL programming languages, designing and implementing CRM software, as well as managing the database for financial systems. Rezvan also worked as a Computer Programmer at Yekta Entekhab Sakhtar CO., where they were involved in programming in C# for Windows platforms, database designing, and SQL development.

In 2011, Rezvan joined BEHKO as a Senior Programmer. Rezvan'srole included various tasks such as architectural design, database administration, performance tuning, creating linked servers, resolving deadlock chains, and implementing backup and recovery strategies. Rezvan was also involved in system analysis, coding in SQL Server and C# .NET, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various modules including production engineering, production planning, materials required planning, quality control, repairs and maintenance, and customer relationship management. Rezvan extensively utilized ADO.NET/Entity Framework for data retrieval, querying, storage, and manipulation in ERP and MIS systems.

From 2016 to 2018, Rezvan worked as an SQL Server DBA at Fanavarane Rojan Rayane Espadana (SEPIA Co.) and Samita. In these roles, they were responsible for SQL Server administration, database design, writing complex queries, and monitoring and performance tuning.

Rezvan then worked as a Backend Developer and SQL Server Database Administrator at RDSysCo from 2018 to 2020. Rezvan'sduties included backend development and SQL Server administration.

Most recently, in 2020, Rezvan joined the University of Regina as a Researcher. Rezvan focused on natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning, developing an emotion detection project using commonsense knowledge on popular datasets. Rezvan worked with datasets such as EmoryNLP, Iemocap, Meld, and DailyDialog.

In 2022, Rezvan joined Payfare Inc. as a Software Developer.

Rezvan Shokrani obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Najafabad Higher Education System, which they attended from 2003 to 2005. Rezvan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Najafabad Branch, completing it from 2006 to 2008. Most recently, they attended the University of Regina from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Rezvan Shokrani has obtained various certifications. Rezvan acquired the ASP.NET Core MVC certification from NikAmooz in January 2018. Rezvan also obtained the Full Stack .NET Developer certification from the same institution in September 2017. Furthermore, they achieved the Upgrade SQL Server 2016 certification from NikAmooz in January 2017.
