Ran's expertise encompasses a wide array of legal areas including risk management, commercial contracts, data privacy regulation, and consumer protection, combined with significant experience in governmental legal coordination and legislative negotiations, exemplified during roles at the Israel Ministry of Communications and as a senior legal adviser in the Knesset. Ran holds a Master of Laws in commercial law and a Bachelor of Laws from Reichman University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
