Michael Kalac

Michael Kalac currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Paymentus since June 2021, overseeing security for a leading provider of cloud-based bill payment solutions. Prior to this, Michael held the role of Virtual Chief Information Security Officer at Tevora in 2021. Michael's extensive experience at Western Union from 2006 to 2020 includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Vice President, where responsibilities included establishing a robust security strategy and leading a large team focused on various cybersecurity domains. Michael also succeeded as Senior Vice President of Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud, emphasizing cloud capabilities and infrastructure transformation. Earlier in the career, Michael was Vice President of Enterprise Network Engineering at First Data Corporation from 2000 to 2006. Michael holds an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an AS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
