Wale Ayeni

Wale Ayeni serves as the Managing Partner at Helios Digital Ventures, focusing on investing in early-growth Series B+ technology companies with an African nexus. Additionally, Ayeni is an Investor and Board Director at Conduit, and an Investor with Nomba and Paymob. As a Genesis Member of VC3 DAO, Ayeni contributes to the development of a new Venture Investment model centered on Decentralization and Web3 principles. Previously, Ayeni was the Head of Venture Capital Investments at the International Finance Corporation, where leadership was provided over investments across Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, managing a substantial portfolio in disruptive technologies. An educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
